Raymond’s favourite looks from the Oscars
I really enjoyed this year’s Oscars – lovely to see one of my favourite films of last year, The Grand Budapest Hotel (I’m a big fan of Ralph Fiennes), collect so many awards.
I couldn’t help but notice that this year’s hairstyles were a little more achievable and practical for those of us without a 24/7 hairdresser on call. Dare I say it seems less is more.
Here are my best-tressed leading ladies from this year’s Oscars…
Laid back tresses from Chloe Grace Moretz
Laid back, and looking ultra cool for it, Chloë Grace Moretz (500 Days of Summer, Kick-Ass) kept her hair simple at this year’s Oscars. Perfectly complementing her beautiful Miu Miu dress.
Ask your hairdresser for:
A nice natural blow dry with a little wave finishing with a spray of L’Oreal’s ‘Crystal Gloss’ for a beautiful shine for those party pictures.
Chrissy Teigen does classic glamour waves
Bouncy and beautiful waves are really hot right now. Chrissy Teigen (American Model, Partner of John Legend) really does look fabulous with her to one-side giving her the illusion of thicker hair.
Ask your hairdresser for:
Wave with volume. L’Oreal’s ‘Beach Waves’ before the blow dry will help give beautiful volume and control.
The leader of the (fashionista) pack – Anna Wintour
Vogue’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour may have kept things simple at this year’s Oscars but her ‘Bob’ haircut is sophisticated and absolutely stunning.
Ask your hair stylist for:
A graduated bob cut with precision with the front meeting the jaw line when blow-dried. Plus a full fringe. A smooth blow dry using L’Oreal’s ‘Liss Control’ will keep your hair frizz-free, with movement.
